01

The strength of a devotee

The Ramayana tradition honours Hanuman ji for courage, intelligence, and wholehearted service. His strength is directed by purpose. For the seeker, this offers an accessible reflection: devotion can shape the way a duty is undertaken, a difficulty is met, and a promise is kept.

02

Hanuman Chalisa and understanding

The Hanuman Chalisa of Tulsidas brings together remembrance of the Guru, prayer for wisdom, the deeds of Hanuman ji, and devotion to Shri Ram. Reading with attention to meaning can bring freshness to a familiar text. A passage may be reflected upon slowly before returning to the full recitation.

03

Seva as lived worship

Hanuman ji’s devotion is expressed in purposeful action. Helping where help is needed, attending to a task with care, and practising restraint in speech can become daily reflections on this ideal. Such actions allow worship and responsibility to support one another in a householder’s life.

04

Deepening the practice

A seeker may begin by sharing the devotional practice already followed and the guidance being sought. Formal mantra sadhana and anushthan are then discussed within the Guru relationship. The intention is to build a practice that can be maintained with attention, sincerity, and continuity.
